The Board of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council is excited to announce that registration is now open for the December 3, 2024 Dinner Meeting at the Powelton Club.

Please note that the cocktail reception will run from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm with passed hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar. 

The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm.

This event will feature a discussion on The Future of the Estate Tax Exemption and whether shifts in strategy make sense.

The results of the recent presidential election have seemingly provided some clarity as to the future of the estate tax laws.  Where do we go from here? Do Irrevocable Trusts and other gifting techniques still make sense? In what circumstances should these techniques be used? This program will discuss critical planning considerations to consider for 2025 and beyond.
